Fr. Fruto Ramirez, SJ. Quiet and reserved, his melodies offer a glimpse into his heart. A theologian by training and a musician by grace, he studied in Rome yet remained rooted in his Bicolano identity. This is seen and heard in his Ama Niamo in Am, sung in many Bicol masses.

His love for the Blessed Mother shines through in his Ave Maria, while songs like Purihin ang Panginoon, Panalangin sa Pagiging Bukas Palad, and Si Kristo ay Gunitain show his love for the Eucharist.

Fr. Fruto’s legacy is one of presence, not only in his studies but also in how his music continues to bring people closer to God.
