Description

St. Ignatius of Loyola is credited with the creation of the Anima Christi, a beautiful and poetic prayer for the Eucharist. This translation was adapted from a book published in Vigan City, Ilocos Sur in 1991 called Lualo Ti Gimong, Maikalim nga Urnos. It was initially written for baritone solo, guitar, and flute for the ordination of Mark Anthony Reyes’ classmate and a close friend, Rev. Fr. Dann Philip Soriano of the Diocese of Urdaneta. This version is arranged by Migs Miguel, audio recording performed by Hangad.
