Quezon City, July 7, 2023 – Jesuit Communications Foundation (JesCom) is proud to announce “CONNECT: JesCom Fair 2023”, a whole-day event aimed at launching and showcasing the organization’s various digital initiatives, programs, and products. The fair will take place on July 22, 2023, from 10 am to 9 pm at the Gateway 1 Mall Activity Center in Araneta City, Cubao, Quezon City.
With the overarching theme of “Embracing Innovation. Empowering Faith”, “CONNECT: JesCom Fair 2023” aims to create awareness of JesCom’s role as a leading Catholic media organization and introduce its inspiring content to new audiences. This event presents a new and improved JesCom, ready to effectively spread the Word in the digital age while remaining grounded in its mission, vision, thrusts, and values.
Visitors will have the opportunity to engage with each JesCom unit at their fun and interactive booths, where exciting prizes and giveaways await. To avail of these freebies, visitors simply need to like, follow, and subscribe to the digital and social media platforms of the respective JesCom units.
JesCom Productions’ booth will showcase its beloved programs such as Kape’t Pandasal, The Word Exposed, and its award-winning Holy Week TV specials. Attendees will also get an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the upcoming historical drama film, “GomBurZa”, set for release in late 2023.
Jesuit Music Ministry (JMM) will have a booth featuring a “Soundtrack of our Faith” sing-along challenge, promoting its latest album that features popular mainstream Filipino artists adding contemporary flair to inspirational songs. JMM artist Hangad Music Ministry will also be present for a ‘meet and greet’ with fans.
Meanwhile, Radyo Katipunan (RK) 87.9 FM’s booth will offer visitors a glimpse into the world of radio hosting. RK will be promoting its celebrated program “Keep the Faith: Daily Mass with the Jesuits” along with its “Keep the Faith: In a Minute” reels and “Keep the Faith” podcast.
“CONNECT: JesCom Fair 2023” will also feature a grand launch program starting at 5 pm, where each JesCom unit will showcase its latest projects and products. Visitors can watch performances from JMM artists and a special number by renowned artist Bituin Escalante. A fashion show will also debut the ‘JesCom Tag’ T-Shirt line, with select lyrics from JMM songs printed on vibrantly designed shirts.
