Radyo Katipunan 87.9 FM’s beloved daily mass program, “Keep the Faith”, marked a new milestone in its young history with the celebration of its third anniversary at the Jesuit Communications (JesCom) Garage building, last Sunday, March 19, 2023.
Beginning with the celebration of the Holy Mass for the Fourth Sunday of Lent, presided by Fr. Rene Javellana, SJ, fellow “Keep the Faith” priests as well as supporters of the program, also gathered together for the blessing of JesCom’s brand-new Chapel Studio.
Built through the generous support of its donors and benefactors, the Chapel Studio serves as the new and permanent home of the “Keep the Faith” daily mass, and will also double as a multipurpose venue for other Radyo Katipunan programs and JesCom productions.
“After these past three years, all I could say is ‘Thank you.’ Your support is what has kept us going,” acknowledged JesCom Associate Director Fr.Ro Atilano, SJ in a previous message to audiences of “Keep the Faith”.
“’Keep the Faith’ will definitely be here to stay. Even as we move forward from the pandemic, our masses will continue to be a source of solace and consolation for all.”
Since first airing on the Ateneo de Manila University airwaves on March 19, 2020, the feast of St. Joseph, “Keep the Faith” has brought hope and inspiration to millions of viewers, both locally and abroad, receiving heartfelt testimonies and staunch support from its thriving virtual parish.
Now rechristened, “Keep the Faith: Daily Mass with the Jesuits”, JesCom and Radyo Katipunan hope to bring the heartening homilies of the daily mass program to even more audiences soon, by making these available and accessible on vertical, short video formats and podcasts.
“We invite audiences to help spread the word, by sharing the mass to even more people. If you have been inspired by ‘Keep the Faith’, help others be inspired as well,” added Fr. Ro.
