Love was in the air at the Sonolux Building last February 14, 2023, as JesCom staged another successful edition of the JOSH Live series while kicking off Radyo Katipunan 87.9 FM’s year-long fifth anniversary celebration.
With the Tanging Yaman Store garden transformed into an outdoor stage, the JesCom Online SHop’s (JOSH) much-awaited monthly program featured romantic musical performances and sweet deals in its Valentine’s Day special.
Serenading audiences with heartwarming tunes were Filscap-winning songwriter Toto Sorioso and the Radyo Katipunan Atin Yan duo of Chris Castillo and Cholo Malilin. Joining the talented cast of performers were saxophonist Jay Gomez and keyboardist Kim Dominik Sarmiento.
Co-hosting the highlight event of JOSH’s Love Month Sale were Roma Escaner and Rey Malipot, joined by Good Morning Ateneo’s Mhir Delos Santos. Audiences tuning in to the live broadcast via the Facebook pages of JesCom (facebook.com/jescomph), JOSH (facebook.com/joshaddtocart), and Radyo Katipunan (facebook.com/radyokatipunan), were treated to big discounts of up to 80% on selected products, with dozens of exciting giveaways and prizes.
The fun-filled afternoon also marked the beginning of “Overdrive”, Radyo Katipunan 87.9 FM’s year-long fifth anniversary celebration. Since making its soft launch on February 14, 2018, the Ateneo de Manila University campus radio has emerged as a vital platform for truthful communication and values-driven programming.
