JesCom Holy Week 2021 Programs

In this season of Lent and amidst these challenging times, Jesuit Communications (JesCom) gathers Filipino Catholics in prayer, penance and contemplation, through its Holy Week 2021 programs and special presentations.

Enter the spirit of Holy Week through music and prayer, with Jesuit Music Ministry’s “Loving and Forgiving”, a virtual prayer concert airing on Palm Sunday, March 28, 8pm.

On Holy Wednesday, March 31, 8pm, join Luis Antonio Cardinal Tagle – Prefect, Congregation for the Evangelization of Peoples, as he reflects on Pope Francis’ 2021 Lenten Message, “Behold, we are going to Jerusalem”, The Word Exposed’s online recollection.

Easter Triduum

Throughout the Easter Triduum, take a pause and rediscover the power of faith and hope through JesCom’s inspirational documentaries on GMA7, ANC, TeleRadyo, CNN Philippines and TV Maria.

In a fitting tribute to the iconic Manila Cathedral, “Inang Simbahan: Ang Kuwento ng Manila Cathedral” recounts the enduring story of this triumphant symbol of Filipino faith.

Narrated by award-winning journalist Ms.Cheche Lazaro, “Via Lucis: Sa Mga Yapak ni Hesus” highlights personal faith stories in this new, hopeful devotion that traverses the Lord’s path from the empty tomb, to the Upper Room where the Holy Spirit descended upon his Apostles.

A finalist at the  29th International Catholic Film and Multimedia Festival, “Bagong Buhay: Mga Kwento ng Pagbabalik loob” highlights compelling stories on conversion and renewed life, built upon unwavering faith.

Jesuit Communications Foundation, in partnership with the Manila Cathedral, presents the most current and comprehensive video documentary on Filipino religious festivals and popular devotions.
